Description
The Barley Mow is located in the village of Milford next door to the historical Shugborough Hall. We are about four miles from Stafford and close to Rugeley and Cannock. This is great walking country with Milford Common at the top of the road which leads to Cannock Chase. We offer friendly service within a welcoming family environment. TheĀ restaurant was fully refurbished to a high standard in April 2007. The tasteful decor has a mixture of traditional features such as the big wooden bar, wooden beams and old fireplaces blending in with a light, bright, modern look in a colour scheme of cream and dark brown chocolate walls with two walls of big patterned wallpaper. There is an open plan layout with steps leading to the different zones. In the bar area there are sofas, low bucket chairs and coffee tables. You can relax with a coffee or a drink, alone or with friends and can dine throughout the pub. We are a very popular food house and offer a range of good pub food served from varied menus, offering something for everyone and including a good childrenās menu. Good views can be enjoyed from the pub and outside we have patio areas and a beer garden with a grassed children's play area for our younger visitors. During the summer there is total outside seating for approximately 150 people! When you are next in the area come and treat yourself to a special time out.
