We All Met Around 7 am, Another Early Start. Dear God, The Things We Do For Minis! It Took Around 4 Hours To Get There, With A Stop Half Way. When We Reached The Mini-Filled Roads Of Brighton. Dazzler Had The Bright Idea Of Evacuating The Minibus To Hand Out SRR Leaflets. Great Thinking! It Wasn’t Until We Arrived, That We Realised The Compactibility Of The Minibus; Parking In A Spot – Recently Occupied By An Audi A4, Also Blocking Off Most Of The Road In The Process. Oops… And Then The Group Went Our Separate Ways To Speculate The Colossal Amount Of Minis That Were Crammed Onto Brighton Front. There Were Hundreds…No….Thousands! Normally The Amount Of Rain We Had, Did I Mention The Rain?... Would Have Ruined Any Other Mini-Show. But It Didn’t Deter All The Die-Hard Mini Fanatics Like Us. After Many Hours Of Browsing, Admiring And Eating. We All Met Up At The Auction To See If Anyone Could Bag A Bargain. John Won A Set Of Sportspack Arches. Perfect For Chavving Up Grant. Then We Decided We’d Had Enough Of The Rain, And It Was Time To Make Our Way Home. On The Way Back To The Minibus We Saw A “Cooper-ed” Fiesta. Someone Who Obviously Has A Sense Of Humour. Seeing As We Found It Extremely Amusing. We All Got Back On The Minibus As The Dazzler Took Over Chauffeuring Duty And Got Us All Back Home To Dry Off. It Was A Great Day Out, And We All Really Enjoyed Ourselves. Can’t Wait Till L2B 2007, Hopefully It Won’t Rain Next Year Glad It Was An Event I Actually DID Attend. Jord.[HowSoonIsNow] |
