At Himley Hall Staffsminis Club theme was a "mini-goround"..
Staffsminis put on a full 10 cars all dressed to the theme of "mini fun fair". We had a "mini-go-round", "mini dodgems", "mini duck hunt" "mini mystery" and other mini games But same as bingley we missed out again even though we put on a fantastic display! The real winner of the day was Breast Cancer Care, we are raising funds as "sponsorship" for IMM spain. Staffs raised a massive £277 on the day and have since had more donations taking the total so far to over £300!

Himley Hall by Andy G Overall a reasonable show with a nice lot of traders although I thought the pricing on much of the stands was rather expensive - Add to this the fact that we didn't even get a sticker or programme when we came in. Saw a lot of people and a number of clubs had made quite an effort to join in with the event theme - once again - we came nowhere - which is a tad disapointing since we tried to cover all aspects. Perhaps we tried to cover too many? Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best in the world so that put a drab slant on the day too. Good points - It was nice to see the monster truck Minis and a fab van with a Rover v8 shoehorned in - and didn't look outrageous either! The wheels and tyres seemed to be in nice proportion. We had some fun doing a Mini-go-round and Mini-dodgems with John doing particularly well with his fishing. Saw a nice yellow Clubman with a seven port head on prep-ed ready for competition but unfortunately never heard it running. Nice to see a Binny up close as to how little space there is under the bonnet. Had a laugh at Steve's expense with a JD bottle and some overalls.
