Well....

What a weekend!!!!

It turned out to be a small affair, with just 17 of us heading off from Shrewsbury to North Wales, but boy oh boy was it a stonker of a weekend!!

Things didn't start well as usual  for Sam (Ginger Sam)... I'll let him explain that one! But surprisingly also for John (Red5), who couldn't open the boot on his McCoy to fill it up with petrol!! So after nearly an hour of flying chunks of fibreglass and my, now world famous gaffer tape lending a hand to secure the freshly broken into boot, we were on our way!!!

The run took the usual route up the A5 with the mandatory stop at the Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass, and ended at the bunkhouse where we all dumped our belongings. The Saturday afternoon run then headed for Barmouth... Lots of 2p games in the arcades, Ice cream, chips and ROCK (I love rrrrock me!!) later, there was just enough time for shoot out on the Dodgems as Purple Rob and Ginger Sam had joined us. We made it back to the beach for a photo shoot just in time as the sun was rapidly decending into the Irish Sea, for a cracking photoshoot!

Then the fun began! The night, as usual involved lots of booze and the unlikely star was 'Smashed Up Sam' who god smashed for the second time that day! The usual 2p game was abandoned, and the Lesbian arm wrestling began! BBQ credits as usual go to John who, with his hapless assistant (ME!), cooked up a treat for everyone!

The sunday run back to the Go-Karts was the usual route over the hill from Bala to Oswestry where the championship got quite heated!! The new, yes NEW champione being FartinMartin who has stolen Rob's 5 times unbeaten title!

All in all, a good weekend was had by all! The BEST RATS yet!
