I've looked into the possibility of organising a 'Beer & Skittles' evening for this year.

After discussion with Daz, we believe that the best date is 1st December, which I believe is a Saturday evening. I have checked with the Swan Hotel & this date is available (so they are holding the room for me for a short period until I pay the deposit).

As this shall be very much our December meeting, It has been suggested that we combine additional activities such as Secret Santa & a club raffle.

The arrangement shall be similar to last year, in that I am making a trip to France in August to buy copious amounts of competitively priced beer & wine, for the lucky winners. Or you can save it for a Christmas present for someone else like Purple Rob does.

A cold buffet will be provided on the night & I shall try & keep the cost down to a figure similar to last years £8 per head. It is hoped, we can surpass the money that we raised for the club funds last year, so if anyone has any raffle prizes etc, I shall be contacting you nearer the date.

I shall not start a who's going list just yet as it is far too early. However, please reserve this date in your calendars should you wish to partake. The room will hold a maximum of 40 adults (NOTE THIS IS AN ADULT ONLY EVENT - NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED) & I need at least 30 people to go to break even.

This was a very popular event last year which all participants enjoyed immensely, so your support in this activity would be most appreciated.
